We'll go over all the data points you need for a successful 10DLC registration.

Introduction

There are currently two ways to register for 10DLC:

  1. You're sending less than 3,000 segments on any day

  2. You're sending more than 3,000 segments on any day

If 1) applies to you, you can register for free as a "Starter" brand. If 2) applies to you, you can register as a "Standard" brand. The latter requires a bit more information but if you have all of it available, registration should still not take longer than 5 minutes. Here's a breakdown of what you will need for each registration type.

Starter

  1. First name

  2. Last name

  3. Address

  4. Email address, in case the we / the carriers have follow up questions

As you can see this is quite simple. Now let's move on to the Standard Registration.

Standard

Before you begin the registration process for A2P10DLC, collect the following information to ensure a smooth onboarding flow:

Please note: If you have a US entity, use EIN to register your business profile and to avoid brand registration failures. Do not use a DUNS number.

Business Information

  • Business Name

  • Physical Address (Street, City, State/Province/Region, Postal Code, Country)

  • Business Type (Sole Proprietorship/Partnership/Corporation /Co-Operative/LLC/Non-Profit)

  • Company Status (Private/Public)

  • Stock Ticker & Exchange (if Public)

  • Tax ID or Business Registration Number and Type (EIN, DUNS, or Business License)

  • Industry

  • Website

  • Regions of Operations

Point(s) of Contact

One authorized representative with the following info:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Business Title

  • Phone Number

  • Job Position (Director/VP/GM/General Counsel/CEO/CFO)

Providing a second authorized representative is optional.
