All communication via SuperPhone™ happens on the 'Messages' page at the following url: https://app.superphone.io/messages

Composing a New Message

a. Click the chat pencil icon to compose a new message
b. In the 'To' field, start typing a name or number and select from the drop-down
c. Enter your message in the box and click the 'send' button

Note: When using the new message pop-up to send a message from an open conversation, the contact name will be pre-populated. Make sure this is the contact you would like to message. This is especially useful when scheduling a message.

Initiating a Call

There are two ways to initiate a call from the 'Messages' view.

Option 1

Using SuperPhone™ with your personal phone:

a. Click the 'telephone receiver' icon in the left panel to initiate a call
b. In the 'To' field, start typing a name or number and select from the drop-down
c. Select a number with which to connect the call
d. Press the call button

Option 2

You may also initiate a call over wi-fi directly through the browser:

a. Click the 'telephone receiver' icon in the left panel to initiate a call
b. In the 'To' field, start typing a name or number and select from the drop-down
c. Press the 'call' button
d. Allow SuperPhone™ to use the mic by clicking allow on the dialogue that pops up

Note: When initiating a call from an open conversation, the contact name will be pre-populated. Make sure that is the contact you would like to call.

Call Pricing

Local calls in the US made via SuperPhone™ are priced at $0.02/min over wifi and $0.04/min when connecting through a phone. In both cases, your SuperPhone™ number will appear on your recipient's caller ID.

Sending MMS

SuperPhone™ uses an integration with FileStack to send files via SMS.

a. Select a conversation from the message list
b. Look for the 'paper clip' icon at the bottom left of any message thread
c. Click the 'paper clip' icon and select a file to send

Note that photos will be converted to MMS and all other files will be sent as shortened download links.

Filtering Conversations

SuperPhone™ enables you to restrict the message list to only display conversations from a particular segment of your network. For example, you could choose to only see messages from Photo + Video professionals.

b. Scroll down or start typing to choose a tag

Searching Messages

a. To search all messages for a specific word, simply type the search term(s) in the 'search' field on the left side panel
b. To search messages from a tagged group, select the tag from the 'Filters' drop-down and then type the search term(s) in the 'search' field

Messages will dynamically be filtered to display those containing the search term(s).
