Introducing Voice Messages!
SuperPhone now allows you to send voice messages the same way you are used to from other chat apps! To get started
Open any chat or compose an Update on the latest version of our mobile app
Press and hold the recording button
If it's your first time, you will need to grant microphone access
Release the button to stop the recording. You can now review the recording and add text to your message if you want to.
The maximum duration of each voice message is 160 seconds or 2 minutes and 40 seconds. Every voice message is sent as an MMS. This means you can add text to go along with your voice message at no extra cost.
Voice messages work especially well when you have a long message to share or simply when you just want to make sure the other person receives a personal message from you.
What about songs?
The best way to send a song, podcast or any other audio (longer than a few seconds) using SuperPhone® is actually to just send a link to SoundCloud, Spotify, or Apple Music. Your subscribers will appreciate that you've directed them to an app that can play music natively. We've seen clients have incredible success sending private SoundCloud links to their most dedicated supporters before they release songs publicly to streaming services.
