Adjusting the Delay on Your First Contact Auto-Response

How to make your first contact auto-response fire sooner (or later)

Updated over 4 years ago

To adjust the time (reduce or extend the delay) on your first contact auto-response, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the automations section of your settings by clicking here while logged in to your SuperPhone account: https://app.superphone.io/automation/explore

  2. Create a new automation by clicking the 'NEW' button in the top right of your screen:

3. Click 'Choose a Start Trigger' and then select 'First Message':

4. Ignore the 'Add Stop Trigger' option and select 'Add Task', there you will have the ability to choose sending a message instantly or adding a delay before sending:

5. Once you're done, Hit 'SAVE'.

6. Do not forget to disable your default first contact auto-response. To do so, visit the 'Automated-Responses' section of your settings by clicking here while logged in to your account: https://app.superphone.io/settings/auto-response

Here's an example of what an automation looks like after it's completed.
